What eyes cant see through

On April 10th 2011 at 8:00pm a mini series on the discovery channel premiered called "Human Planet". With a voice over by Mike Rowe which we all know from "Deadliest Catch", amazing writing to compliment the outstanding display of cinematography made this mini series overwhelmingly superb. Now normally I wouldn't write about a mini series on the Discovery channel but this one reached out beyond our world and collapsed in our hands to provide a real life reason why the world is not going to end anytime soon.

I know, I know it sounds pretty silly but if you think about it why would any of us or even GOD want to take away such a beautiful gift such as life from the people who fight and train so hard for the well being of their families. Everyone in there own little way does do this and 90% of the time (not a statistic) it works out amazing but these people, these people have tradition, morals, life, love and most of all respect.

We as a people learn to adapt to the society we have to live in, bottom line, everyone knows and understands that but, We make our surroundings adapt to us: We need more space, well buy a bigger house, I need to get around quicker, well buy a faster car, My clothes don't fit because I've been going out to dinner at the stake house to much, well go out and get new clothes. The families they documented in this mini series didn't have to buy bigger houses or fast cars because they didn't change their surroundings instead they adapted themselves to what was given to them and survived with it and did so in such a way that documentarians took 2 to 4 years documenting their every day lives, THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES, Thats it, nothing special, them going fishing and feeding their family thats it, the only difference is they did it in powerful rapids or deadly seas or with home made spears or on top of 700ft water falls so gators can't eat them....THATS IT...

What are we doing competing against each other for nothing important? Why is it that if you have the most money, fastest car or biggest house you win....WHY?

Look real close to your family and be proud of it. Look real close to yourself and be proud of you. This is it this is what you have so love it, cherish it and make it strong because if the world does end you can at least end together.
